A Region Vice President of Clinical Operations:
- Identifies, develops, and monitors clinical strategies to fulfill
region business objectives in a proactive vs. reactive manner.
- Establishes the goals and objectives, standards, and policies and
procedures to achieve high-quality patient care and improved patient
outcomes in accordance with the organization's strategic plan.
- Spearheads changes to existing protocols and policies through all
levels in the organization to create a culture of clinical excellence
and profitable growth.
- Monitors and promotes increased patient satisfaction. Oversees
the region's clinical outcomes, operational processes, performance
metrics, etc. in support of patient satisfaction. Provides
direction to the clinical delivery to identify solution to client
need/problems.
- Ensures compliance with all company protocols, policies, and
regulatory requirements. Oversees efforts in complying with local, state
and federal regulations, accreditation standards, clinical practice
standards as well as corporate compliance and policy standards.
- Ensures sound fiscal management of care delivery that supports region
strategy.
- Supports sales and growth of the region.
- Ensures all region staff understand clinical financial metrics and how
they can positively influence clinical financial performance.
- Analyzes and makes recommendations to enhance work efficiency and
information flow processes along with suitability and accuracy of
Clinical Informatics. Works with staff to identify deficiencies.
- Creates a positive service excellence culture within region by setting
expectations and accountability through effective clinical
leadership.
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree or equivalent in nursing or therapy with a
minimum of 7 to 10 years clinical and/or administration management
experience in a strategy formulating capacity and current clinical
licensure required.
- Home Health branch operations and Masters, Ph.D or an accredited post
graduate nursing or therapy education program preferred, e.g. Physician
Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Must be a strategic business thinker in addition to a strong clinician
and posses effective strategic leadership skills who can direct as well
as influence patient care delivery and decision-making at the Regional
and national level.
- Must have board knowledge of home health agency regulatory
requirements and administration.
- Excellent proactive leadership skills, strong verbal/written
communication and interpersonal skills.
